Checkmate Precision Cutting Tools Ltd is extremely proud to announce their association with the Kohlbacher range of Bandsaw Equipment out of Germany for the Sawmill Market. With the recent changes in the market for bandsaw equipment, the Kohlbacher range provides a strong line of well proven sawshop equipment for servicing bandsaws. I’ll see if I can find a relevant image to use.

Kohlbacher has been operating for over 25 years and has served primarily the European market; however over the last 10 years Kohlbacher sales have stretched across to the U.S/Canada.

Kohlbacher have a range of full flood CNC equipment, along with Cam driven models for the smaller bandsaw range. Their Shark 3000 is the flagship model with capacity for up to 14 m long bandsaws, it has programmable features for 9999 tooth profiles and capacity for up to 10 different tooth pitches and heights per set for variable pitch saws. The Kohlbacher Stellite Tipper ‘Stingray” is a fully automated plasma tipper and is complemented by their “Barracuda” range of automated side grinders.

Siegfried Kohlbacher, owner/director of Kohlbacher has spent his life in engineering and in the development of sawshop machinery and after working for other companies he moved and started planning and building his own machines for sharpening and producing band saws. He has extended his manufacturing and there is continued R & D development evolving into their range also.

The beauty of the Kohlbacher range is it is very “user friendly” and has very robust & built with accessible componentry that will ensure a long machine lifespan. These machines are going to become a very welcome option to the market in Australasia as they are an exceptional build with a competitive value option to win your directors over in gaining approval.

Drop us a line at Checkmate if you require further information about the product range or visit the Kohlbacher website
