For over 50 years, Wellons has been a leader in providing biomass-fired energy systems, timber drying systems, and related products and services to the forest products industry. Firmly established and financially sound, we provide our customers with complete services in design, engineering, and manufacturing, as well as installation services and technical assistance.
Wellons offers biomass energy systems including fuel storage and emission equipment, power and cogeneration plants, as well as both batch and continuous timber drying systems for the North American and international markets. Since incorporating in 1964, Wellons has designed and manufactured more than 370 Biomass Boiler and Energy Systems, over 50 Cogeneration Projects and more than 1,500 Timber Drying Systems (Batch and Continuous units). Wellons timber drying systems utilize steam, thermal oil or natural gas direct fired heating systems.
While primarily a manufacturer of high-quality energy and timber drying systems, it is important to note that we are also an experienced and capable engineering firm. Headquarters and main manufacturing facility are located in Vancouver, Washington. With additional manufacturing facilities in Sherwood, Oregon; Surrey, British Columbia; and Montreal, Quebec, Wellons maintains over 215,000 square feet of manufacturing capability, as well as manufacturing connections locally within the Australasian region.
